Artist’s Biography: Natalie Strooberg

Mosaic 4 Africa is a local business that specializes in the retail of mosaic tiles, cutters, adhesives, inserts, wooden blanks and more. We have been running mosaic workshops and selling for the past 13 years and have always been people and service orientated, creating natural creations for lasting impressions.

My inspiration for this art piece:

Earth Angel evolved after the tragic loss of our 17-year-old son Liam this year.  He was an earth child, being vegan and a total heart for saving and conserving our planet.  Elements included encompass what he loved – the ocean, flowers especially sunflowers, crystals, a love for beautiful crockery and plants.  May we choose to fill our minds, bodies & souls with the beauty that surrounds us, no matter the tragedy or storm we are faced with.  May we continue to look towards the sun as sunflowers do.
